View All Internet Activity At Once
Here’s a great one, fresh in from Twitter. You think our geeks of the world are slowing down, that they have nothing to do but play video games? Well, take a look at this by John Matherly @achillean on Twitter. I find this as fascinating as building a ship to go faster than the speed of light.

North Idaho, the Panhandle, has a real abundance of Internet savvy people, enough to light up the world map of Internet activity. Photo by Dwayne Parsons is the lab at the Aerospace Center in Hayden.

Where the Activity Is
This kind of shows you where the activity is, doesn’t it?
And because I’m working in North Idaho and believe in Bitcoin and faster-than-light space travel, I want to point out that my area of the world map, as small as it is, is also in tones of red. That means we’re heating up with Internet activity right along with the rest of the best.
Only we have a campus as big as all of North Idaho, a play ground rich in lakes and forests and things to do year round.
I’m not bragging.
That’s the facts!
