The Air We Breathe

Clean Air in the Wild Outdoors

This photo of Lee Creek Meadow near Priest Lake illustrates how clear the air is in North Idaho. This was taken on a typical blue-sky day. There was no manipulation to this photograph.

Contrast this with recent photos from China, Beijing in particular. Just google up images and you’ll suddenly realize that some people spend their entire lives in a shroud-ridden world of smog, never seeing the sun for what it is, never able to see the stars or moon in the way we know them in North Idaho. Imagine, knowing only through photographs, living every day in a toxic cloud where face masks are the norm. How do you catch someone’s smile?
